Honestly, I was bracing for a crusty floor scrub session every single meal, but this mat has completely changed that. The fabric is thick enough to catch every dropped spoonful and it truly comes out spotless after just a quick cycle in the washing machine.

The waterproof layer actually holds up—spaghetti sauce just beads up and wipes off in one pass, so I don’t have to scrub the floor after every meal. Tossed it in the washing machine yesterday and it came out looking brand new, no curling at the edges.
